Jinky's Cafe

I like a Sushi Bar that is busy. It gives me the feeling like the fish is turning over frequently vs sitting around getting old. Midori is a great value with an all you can eat menu of everything Sushi. One caveat, you must eat it all, including the rice or you will be charged individual order prices. Come hungry and enjoy !

As good a carnivores palace as all the others. Great cuts, good sides, attentive service. Just like all the others that you know the names of. The prices are higher than most with no added value. Not a destination, but if you are in the area, it will satisfy the meat eating beast in you.

Mistral is a special place in Sherman Oaks. The owner is so involved that the restaurant has the feeling of a private club. The food is first rate and the service is just as good. The wine list is outstanding with many wines that are what appears to be straight retail. The wine service and glassware is also super. the are always wine groups coming to use the restaurant as a wine tasting spot. I highly recommend this restaurant.
